The importance of public engagement
The Natural Medicine Division (NMD) is committed to transparency and creating a regulatory framework that reflects both the will of the voters and the direction of the Colorado General Assembly through proactive collaboration with stakeholders. The NMD will host three listening sessions in the summer of 2025 (schedule immediately below). In addition, the Division hosted several Listening Sessions in 2023-24, meetings with local municipalities to update them on the rules, and Interested Applicant forums to assist with license applications and other regulatory requirements.

Listening Sessions
The Department of Revenue's Natural Medicine Division has concluded its public Listening Sessions related to the regulation of natural medicine in Colorado. For the next step in implementing Natural Medicine rules and regulations, the Division held seven public rulemaking meetings from March to July 2024.
